karma

I have a question about when you make a post on the left hand side under your username there is a couple different things like post count sign up date and karma with a number next to it. What exactly does the karma thing mean? And also what does the skin thing mean?

 

Karma in Far Eastern religion basically mean that if you do something good something good will happen to you. If you do something bad same thing.
Here it's a way of saying you like someones post if they helped you , posted a something interesting ect. ect.
You click on the White scales next to the green dot to give Karma for a post. If someone gives you Karma you click on your own name upper right and then Karma tab to see who gave you karma.

Also, Skin is how the forum appears on your screen. You can change it by going to User CP in the top right corner, then find Edit Options in the left column on that page. Skin will be under Miscellaneous.

 

Thanks guys. I was just looking in my user cup and seen I had some karma points. I kinda figured it was like a feedback kinda thing but now I know!
