What happened to Dave ?
I havent been around as much due to working a new shift and i see that something has gone amiss. I hope Naut comes back.I dont know what happend,but he is a great resource and had helped me tremendously with water chemistry issues.
Many of you have helped and it sad to find out one of our members feels he has had to leave for whatever reason.
when i joined this site it had a" family" feel to it and i hope that it has not changed.

You guys are great. So many good points here. It's really encouraging and makes me feel a little better about the whole thing. Craig is right there are a lot of good people here that make this place what it is, if Dave chooses not to come back, I and others will surely miss him, but that's his choice to make and we will have to accept that and should think about how to avoid such pitfalls with other members.

Nugio - What happened started as an ill-timed joke about karma (he was boosting those on the donation thread of all the irony) he snapped, said some things, tempered flared and by the time I calmed down and tried to reason with him, he deleted himself so I couldn't even reply. It sucked. :-/

A little emotional still, I posted a profanity ridden post giving the play by play, which, although mostly well intentioned in attempt to tell the truth for all and to bait him into venting so we could move on, looking back it was really dramatic and probably did more harm than good. So to David and to all, I apologize for that. If he'd come back I'd give him 500 karma. It's not about the karma folks, just bad tempers.

I learned a lesson there and I am starting to agree with Fletch about talking about someone when they aren't here, at least as a member who is willing to respond at all.

So this is probably my last post on this as I want to get to coding new toys around here to bring back some of the levity and coolness that makes this place fun.

all i can say about all this is that my tank would still be snowing if it was not for the long hard work Naut had put in with me on this matter. I will miss his input and only hope i bump into him on a board somewhere in this wonderfull web we call the internet
