Karma

Being new to 3Reef I'm tryin to read and learn as much as possible...being  my first forum at all maybe someone can explain the Karma setting below my name? What is this used for and what is its main purpose? Thank you

the karma was/is used for the the posters whom have helped you or others, basically a way to say thanks
so if someone adds to a thread that you started or even someone else's thread and you think it has been a lot of help to you or them then give a little karma
you can also give someone karma for the problems that they have, ie, lost fish, coral, etc
it is also there for the people that are rude, etc, and you can give them neg karma
