Oh Ye of little faith! ;) Yeah, I'm enjoying just watching it the way it is. I asked about the green "growths" we have in our tanks and got a reply in 'ID This'. Nothing to worry about. Think I'll keep mine and see how much it grows. Also, asked about too many bubbles in the sump (210g) and got a suggestion.....making a U tube for the down pipes. Now I remember you telling me to add U curves for the pipes. Will get those made tomorrow. I haven't seeded the tank w/coraline scrapings. I may just let nature take its course and wait for the coraline to grow. The frags you gave me are all doing well and (so far) seem happy. I'm so tempted to make another trip to the coral place in Columbus, OH but I'd better hold off until the 210g is ready to support them.

You need to seed for coralline to help the tank get started after nuking all the rock, try not to cut corners on this type of cycle.

OK. I'll do that tomorrow also and let you know how it goes. I'm going to scrape the back of the 75g tank and catch the coraline flakes in a fish net....then release them onto the rock in the 210g. With the pump off, right? Or does that matter? Thanks Otty! See folks? He keeps me on the straight and narrow. :bigcry::whip:

Turn the pumps off and leave them off for about 2.5 to 3 hours. I also picked up you two finch feeders today that I will give to Jim at work this week.

Oh, no way! The 210G is looking good! Water is still crystal clear....no algae yet and little yellowtail growing bigger everyday. I moved some LR from the 75G (that happened to include a few softies) to the 210G and the coral seems to be doing great-even with no HD's. Jim and I will work on getting the HD's hooked up this weekend. When they come on, I'll slowly start to transfer the fish, a couple snails and a few more coral. I've decided to keep the 75G set up for a quarantine tank. How's your sweet tank doing?

Have you been sick? If so, hope you're feeling better soon! Will get some pics this weekend while we figure out the lights.
