    I would actually take the safe road and cover it up as much as you can. I've had a full grown wrasse (almost 3" nose to tail) jump through 1/2" eggcrate covering the entire tank.
    Wrasses are jumpers, if you want to protect your fish I would recommend covering the whole thing as well as you can. It's not that much work and not too expensive. If you don't then it could just be a matter of time and luck until the fish finds the hole in your defenses.
    Just because it hasn't jumped out yet doesn't mean it can't.

    Not to be all doom and gloom, I just think it's easy to be lulled into a false sense of security because nothing horrible has happened yet.

    Good luck when you get them. Let us know if they actually try to jump or if you cover the opening in the back...

    Thanks everyone, I actually plan on covering the back matter in some sense, Im hoping *Crosses fingers* That my backings that hung on my versa top when I had a glass top will fit on the screen door frame in the back, there for would make it pretty much jump proof. If not Ill get clever :) Im good like that.

    I am quite excited. Even with my little 6line wrasse in my 20g for time being. I was super excited when I got him LOL. He loves the tank so much Very active and he loves anything that has shrimp in it thats for sure.
