    are the fans on your canopy both blowing air in? If so you need to change one to intake one to exhaust

    The back of the canopy has a slot where air flows through and its also open at the bottom half for the returns and add on's. Both fans are over the ends sucking heat out because I was told you HAVE TO keep air flowing across T5s if you over drive them with Ice Cap Ballasts or they will literally pop.

    How about vents on top of your hood. Or can you prop the hood open a little to let the heat rise? I have a chiller on my tank and I still try to do things to keep it cool. I have my light cycle start late in the day also. I never have to worry about a heater, even in the winter.
