    I think it's a pretty good idea!
    My lfs had a 500G display with 7 yellow tangs! Really cool IMO

    Have you considered doing a school of yellow with a purple? Or a school of purples with a yellow?

    Since they are the same genus and body type they would exhibit minimal aggression towards each other. And the conflicting colors of the Yellow/Purple would be visually appealing.

    It would actually look very very cool to have yellows with purples... But I really don't like how aggressive the purples are! Maybe I'll get a trio with one purple and two yellows though ;)

    A local reefer here in the NKY has a school of 5 Convicts and it is very cool! I am sure what ever you go with, it will look great!

    haha ya we havent even finished planning the tank yet, and correction seano........ its 3,800 haha. i hope they school. im guessing you would just load them in there and assume they school eventually?
