Keeping a single chromis

    Just wondering if it's advisable to keep a chromis alone. I'd love to get one for my biocube 29. Can it be done?

    Often they kill each other off until there is just one left...so yes, start with one :) Should be fine.

    Unless you have a really big tank they will usually kill each other, I put 5 in my tank hoping it was big enough to where it wouldn't be a problem , I am now down to 3.
    So I would reccomend just getting one.

    I keep one solo in my 40B and he's doing great. Been several months now and no problems whatsoever.

    started with 3 and ended up with 1 lol so yes i would say go with one

    I had no idea they killed each other. I have purchased multiple a few time to have more than one but I always end up with a solo. Crazy!

    Is this true with all chromis? I just ordered 3 blue reef chromis because it said they like to live in schools....
