Well make sure you post a pic as soon as you get one!! How exciting!!!

Dilly is really starting to settle in. I've taken to target feeding her and it's been a real treat. Most of the time she hangs out in the back of the tank around the cheato. I just know she hunting pods :) But then she'll come to the front of the tank, right up to the glass and hang. This has become her way of telling me, I'm ready to eat ma! And eat she does! Big time. She'll take 2-4 bites of food from the feeding tube then go about her business. To funny!! I really look forward to feeding her. She is also developing quit the lil personality. Just cruses around the tank paying attention to no one but herself. I was also able to see that she is getting a little belly on her too :) I just may be able to relax a little!

    my opinion

this thread has deteriorated into an exchange of opinions/ insults

the reason this occured is very simply that the expression "Mandarin Police" was introduced

up to that point all the responces had been positive and supportive
those people that did not feel that the Mandarin belonged in that tank , had kept their opinions to themselves

upon seeing the expression "Mandarin Police " those people, with strong feellngs about the subject, felt insulted and responded (natural human instinct)

which then brings out others who do not share the same opinions on tank size , suitability etc

the thread has gone off topic and down hill fast

the 1st mandarin dying is sad
the 2nd Mandarin if it dies, will be sadder still

I hope it does not pass away , and I sincerely wish it lives a long and contented life in your aquarium

I also hope that if it does, it would be a good time to accept that a Mandarin, even a well selected one for ORA, does not belong in your set up

becuase how many Mandarins are acceptable collateral damage, when we are experimenting to prove something will work?
