Ok I have a 120g FOWLR, I have Niger Trigger, some Damsels, Engineer Goby's and a Porcupine Puffer about 4 - 5" big. I have the opportunity to get a second Porcupine Puffer about 3 - 4" big... Now I've read mixed reviews about housing multiple puffers in the same tank but not too much info about this puffer species..

Has anyone here have or have seen multiple Porcupine Puffers in the same tank? Is this something I should just take a pass on?

I don't want to take a chance on either of them getting hurt and I can't house a puffer in any other of my tanks....

I was hoping someone would say... sure I have 2 in the same tank... but oh well

    Thanks for you input

Even if someone had two in the same tank it really doesn't mean that it will work for you also.

Good luck though should you decide to do it. Hope it works out for you.

I have several systems with multiple puffers. In your case, avoid any dogfaces as they are more aggressive than your porcupine, as well as another porcupine. Try a Valentini or Blue Spot.
