keeping sand alive

    Hi
    We were about to set up the fuge/sump in our 20 gallons but everything fell appart.:-[ So we have decided to restart everything from scratch .
    I did put my dsd in an acrilyc thub and was woundering what do i need to keep it alive beside a heater?

    I would through a small piece of LR in there and I small power head. You could put an air stone if it was a big bucket

    Add cycled water in there too. Your old water or Catalina water.

    rickzter i have already put in about 5 gallons of tank water in the tub do i need to put more???
