    Is there a way to keep track of your own posts without having to search for yourself, or look yourself up in the members list?
    I'm not to familiar with forums

    I am not sure but I think you can subscribe to them.

    in your user control panel under the subscription section select "no email notification" and everytime you post you will automaticly subscribe to that thread, then after you post when you come back just click the user control panel and it will show the threads you have posted in (aka subscribed to)

    -----under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" select- no email notification
