Just thought I'd share some pics of my tank after I made some changes. I got rid of a few large sps colonies and put in some slower growing sps. In an attempt to slow down the growth of the sps, I also replaced some of the white bulbs with blue bulbs. Right now, I'm only running one aquablue special, one fiji purple, and four blue plus.
Let me know what you guys/gals think. Looks better before or after?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Fantastic tank! A little of everything.

I really like the large LPS in the lower portion.

Yeah dang it, fast growing sps you poor soul, your the envy of many hobbyist.

    Two questions:

    1. What is the green sps in the last image?
    2. What is the dark looking smudges along the top border of the tank.

Looks like Xenia growing all over the front. Time for some trimming :)

Sweet looking tank! Mine will look like that some day maybe. I think the Corals like the lighting in the before picture better, but the color is nicer in the after.

I was thinking the same as Cheryl; every hobbyist's worst nightmare - SPS grows too fast! Beautiful tank, I love both shots too be honest :)

Thanks. The green sps is a milli. The "smudges" are actually the foot of red xenia pusling xenia. I give about 10 stalks of them away weekly, but they grow back just as fast lol.

Thanks. It's a 6 bulb tek elite light fixture.
