kent salt recall

    its reported that kent salt their was a few batches with buckets without batch numbers printed on the buckets that were report to not include ALK so check yours and call kent for the fix.

    Hmm, Thanks for the warning :) Glad i get my salt from my lfs. I think they use tropic...but i will let them know

    Might also want to watch out for Kent period!!!!

    We stoped using them because they say their salt is Phosphate free and when mixed with fresh RO/DI, it went to .3

    We still haven't received any response from the Kent Reps... go figure....:mad:

    Humm, dont use Kent salt but do enjoy their liquids.

    I've had good luck with IO too. I am thinking of switching to reef crystals, the levels are a little better for a reef.

    i use oceanic but will be going back to the tried and true IO.

    oceanic is the best 5 buckets and always great levels!
