    hello i bought a large kenya tree coral a couple days ago and i noticed that it doesn't look like a tree is that right.
    sorry, i dont know how to put photos in a thread but i have a photo of it in my profile gallery.

    4 mounths but the the coral came like that

    if ur tank levels are good, it could be agervated.... if u have it in a place with to much flow or not enough flow it wont be happy, try moving it around till its happy.

    just give it some time soon you will be over run with them as i am at the moment...

    i have an idea were to put it but will it get along with a feather duster as a neighbor

    one thing that i notist was that the stem was wery short does that mean any thing

    When small branches fall off the tree they will have short stems. I have one that is about 4 inches tall but the stem is only like a half inch. It looks like it is inflated but fell over to me. You can move it anywhere you like I have them growing everywhere some grow faster than others but all are growing. I don't think flow matters much as long as your water is good and have pretty good lighting.

    Like all leathers flow is important. They like to shed every once in a while and medium to strong flow will help remove the dead tissue.;)
    I wouldn't put it too close to a feather duster as they move around in the current it may cause the duster to close up.
