Kenya tree is still looking closed up

    Nitire 0
    Ammonia 0
    Temperature 78
    T5 lightning
    Somewhat moderate amount of current
    Plenty of Oxygen in the tank

    But my kenya tree looks more like a brocolli than a kenya tree. it looks better under light but its no where near what it used to look like at the shop

    what am i missing here?

    May we please have the basic chemistry like Ca/Alk/Magnesium. A pH will do if you do not have an ALK test kit.

    Have you moved it around it the tank, perhaps try more flow or less.

    If any near by coral extending sweeper tentacles at night and stinging it?

    Do you have Angel fish that may be nipping it?

    Ps is about 8.2-8.4 right now.

    i got the tree about 3 days ago from the store i have not touched it since.

    This and feather dustors are the only non fish creatures in the tank

    nope, no angel fish!

    Ahhh 3 days ago.

    They are very hardy corals but may take more time to acclimate than some other soft corals.

    Just leave it be and try not to move it for a couple days. If the water chemistry is good it should open up for you in a couple of days if not sooner.
