kenya tree?

i got a little 1 inch kenya tree frag yesterday and i want to know where to place it in my tank so if anyone else has one give me some info on it pwease! i have a 150 watt MH and a Korilia 1.

 

basically you can put it anywhere and it will do great, but try to get it in some current

lol be prepared for it to spread like wildfire! I have stupid little ones popping up all over my tank, its driving me nuts

 

I'd say start down lower in the tank, mine doesn't seem to like being higher up. Give it some flow but not directly in front of the power head, just enough so it waves back and forth.

 

Its funny, everything else in my tank grows like wildfire but my kenya tree is a slow grower. Which I guess is good considering what some of you experience.

 

kenyas are a really fun good looking coral just wish they dont spawn so fast. I wedged mine into a rock close to the bottom of the tank and its grown almost halfway up the tank now

 

haha mine has grown like a quarter of an inch already!

 

lol told ya, in about 6 months your gonna be like **** I hate these things.

 

hahaha! well i can always sell them when they get big for store credit!!!! hahaha!
