    got mine!

I got 2 of these beautiful!!!! lights. It took about an hour to grow on me... but I have to say they are seriously AMAZING. I have never seen shimmer effects like this. The walls in my bedroom have the water shimmering effect all over. And although I placed them in my new tank which only had a few fish so far I added a few zoa's and pink star polyps. The zoas I've never seen open the way they have!!! I will be ordering some things and going all out :). PS i put ONE of these about 8-10 inches above my 75 gallon cube and it almost covers every corner. Along the edges are some dim spots but the coverage is excellent. This is a 30x30x18inch height tank. Although the gooseneck leave much to be desired. I couldn't get it over the top edge of my tank to clasp on so I have it connected to my corner overflow for the time being. I'll have to figure something out eventually from that aspect... Anybody else enjoying theirs?

Also I just wanted to say I got these for 264.95 just 2 days ago. Kessil didn't just use one spectrum led like most other units on the market. Its a mix of various spectrums from what I gather. Not that I know everything. In fact im relatively new to the hobby. So I won't swear by metal halides (although until now I would agree they were hands down beautiful and worked great) I promise you though I have spent more time researching the various aspects of this hobby more than I probably should have hah :) Lights being one part I was torn on for quite some time. I hung it over my main tank for about 30 minutes which has been running off 6 HO T5's and the polyp extension was something I had not observed from them before. No SPS in there so i cannot attest to how this does in that regard but I will be attempting to try in the near future! :) And The shimmer as I said before is something you truly have to see in first person to appreciate how amazing it is. I will post videos and pics feel free to comment. I linked a few above

Awesome! Glad to hear you like them. 8) Hey if you start a new thread on yours with some good pics and details - send me a PM and I will highlight it. I'd love to read more about your experience with the Kessil LED.

I might get my hands on one soon, I like their spectral curves (and I'm picky about LEDs!). They have a nice design, also, and their products sell well in the horticulture industry.

New 200g custom build with the new A350W (wide angle). Corals to be added soon, so we hope to see some great growth.

Nice tanks! Orphek- I wanted to ask if these gave you the idea for the DIF spotlights or was it something else?
