Which one would be better for my 90 gallon the a150 or the a350 I know ill probably have to get 2 of them but I cant find anything about the PAR they put out and if I go by the watts per gallon the a150's wont work right? Any body out there have any knowledge on this? I would really appreciate it :)

I would definitely recommend 2 a350's ;) I think that the a150's are more oriented to smaller tanks.

While you might be able to get away with the 150s, taking proper coral placement into account, I would suggest the 350s for your tank (24" deep) if they are within your budget.

So should I get the wide angle or no? Is there any chance of having too much light?

I just realized that second question is a bad one since the 350's are dimmable lol

Both the a350 and a350w are tunable. If you find the light is too intense for your corals, relocate according, or dim the lights. I would also suggest using the dimming fixture when acclimating your corals to the new lights.

I'm pretty sure that they are dimmable, so if need be, you could always turn the brightness down. The reason why I recommend 2 of them is because you would get a spotlight effect on your tank. You can also buy them with wide angle lenses, so that would help.

Have you thought of doing a DIY led fixture? It'll save you a lot of $$$ ;)

I wouldn't know where to start going with the DIY route? Have you done this?

    Glad to be of help.

I have not done DIY myself, though many 3reefers have. You can use the search tool on here and find dozens upon dozens of DIY LED thread. It can be as simple or high tech as you want it to be. Of course, pricing will vary accordingly. The only downside to this, is most are not all that aesthetically pleasing, in contrast to say, a kessil, or other retail fixtures.
