265G (305G total) With 5 tangs currently. Should I get an Achilles as 6th and final?

    thanks steve...the only thing that has taken a turn for the worst is my orange fungia....it never really fully recovered from taking a face plant in the sand...i moved it onto a rock but its starting to lose its flesh :( Everything else is doing great and growing REALLY fast!

    After reading this thread and looking at every picture I feel like I helped you out lol! Thank you very much for showing all of us your hard work!!!

    It's really great to be able to see step by step how to do this the right way!!!!

    Thanks again for sharing! The next time I want to upgrade my tank I'll just read this thread again and that way I can feel like I did it lol!!!

    Thanks so much for your kind words :) I will be posting new things about/in this tank hopefully often (money permitting.lol) So check back :) And once my corals grow into frag-able colonies I wanna share them with peeps :)

    Here is a pic of my Maxima up close :) He is one the sandbed 30" (plus the canopy height) deep under T5s and thrives

    I would keep the Fungia on the sand and hope for the best. I know I don't need to tell you not to throw away the skeleton if it does die.

    Yeh, it still has flesh, but still looks like its checking out...but looks actually healthier on the rock I moved him to than when he was on the sandbed, so as long as he still has flesh i'll keep him there...if he loses all the flesh i'll just move the skeleton to the bed and hope for regeneration in a few months/years :)

    Zoanthids, Palys, Polyps Oh My!

    I tried to get a picture of every species of Zoanthid, Paly, Polyp in my tank, whether small frag or huge colony, each little mouth has a place in my heart :) Lemme know what ya think of em! I <3 Feedback
