Thanks :) I didnt really lose much of anything either....I lost an orange fungia and my elegance... Elegance was probably inevatble anyhow because i dropped my nitrates to untraceable for the sps's...

    Congrats on the low losses.
Yeah you're probably right, there are several LPS and softies I like but with SPS and keeping nutrients down I don't want to chance them.

Its been a while since i've posted. Since the last post on here, some of you may know I came into a terrible battle with GHA because of some problem rock that I had in my tank...I removed about 80lbs of rock, moved my set-up to a 3 island look rather than a solid wall...I think I like it better this way anyhow. Also last week I tore my 8 48" T5's out and bought some AquaIllumination SOL BLUE Fixtures...I went with 4 of them because i've seen the perform and was pretty sure they would do the job on this 265, and boy was i right...the par i get from these things is RIDICULOUS...I can already in just 1 week notice bigger polyps and I swear my monticap has grown more! lol! I also switced from Reef Crystals to Kent Reef salt...I like the Mg and extra nutrients they put in...and so do my corals. As far as my fish go, they are doing great, everyone is happy tho there have been some casualties over the last year and 3 months the main fish are still alive and doing well...and I plan on adding an Achilles Tang very soon (like when Divers Den has one) and that will be my last fish for the tank and my 6th Tang....I am still battling some GHA as u can see in the pics, but things are looking up for that battle. Hope you guys like this, and if you have any questions feel free to ask! ;D OH I also painted the ends of my tank black...it helps with reflecting in my TV and scraping corraline off the sides was nothing short of a nightmare

    Poll Added

I added a poll to this thread to help me in making my decision on a possible 6th and final tang. The current large fish in the system are

    1. Orange Shoulder Tang (Medium, Color Changing)
    2. Hippo Tang (Medium)
    3. Chevron Tang (Adult)
    4. Unicorn Tang (Largest tang but lots to go)
    5. Yellow Tang (Medium)

I would like to add 6th Tang....an Achilles Tang..

The rest of the fish are pretty small ornamental fish. Please participate in the poll to help me decide. And feel free to post why you voted for what you voted for :)

Congrats on getting things under some control. The Orange and Achilles might have problems but the tank is pretty big so they may come to terms peacefully.

Yeh I still have some work to do with the GHA...but I have noticed my tangs grazing now that I got my LEDs..when the "sun" is going up or going down especially....they never really messed with it prior to that...its like the light changing sends them into graze mode..
