its an additional fuge...bare bottom...gonna add some LR for pod breeding...basically a spot for my UV steralizer, and to grow massive amounts of chaeto...my system will have 355Gallons of water running thru it once this is plumbed up (265 display, 75G Sump/Fuge (filled about halfway), and 55 super fuge)

Ordered some chaeto and mangroves from John over at ReefCleaners....also inside that 55, I am going to put a 10G tank that will house my UV, and the top of the 10 if gonna be eggcrate, and I might put a coral capable growing light over it, so it will double as my frag place...not sure yet tho...we will see

That would be cool. Maybe half fuge/half frag place with a uv.

I would drill it before it gets wet honestly. HOB overflows are a pain.

Got my new Mag5 in the mail today....wish the overflow would get here faster...it says friday...grrr..55 is almost full of saltwater... I sat my UV inside a 10G to keep the chaeto separated from that pump when it turns on :)

Looks great Kevin:) the return doesn't go through the uv right? Because uv kills pods.

No..it doesnt..but i have enough pods in the other fuge to keep tank stocked anyway....if the UV kills some pods it wont matter :)

I decided against drilling, partially because i couldnt be certain that this wasnt a tempered tank...and also because i didnt feel like going to a glass shop..lol
