Sorry to hear about your Royal Gramma. Mine is the oldest fish in my tank(as he was one of the first I ever bought). On a brighter note I am glad the Potters is eating.

Sorry to hear about your fish Kevin.

He won the fishy lottery when you adopted him. Good long life for a fish. :-(

    Kevin,

YOur stand is very similar to my 125.

They are similar in that the tank does not rest on a flat board, but rather a few struts. My 125 is only help on on the ends and a 4" board across the middle.
Then the sides: rather than beefy 2x4, or 2x6's as verticals, yours uses what looks to be 3/4" plywood.
    My verticals are 1x14's.

From an engineering standpoint, they'll both hold what they were designed for.

    Nice build thread.

Sad to report my tank crashed sometime ago...and is still....no one has been able to figure it out...I've lost 99.9% of my sps and about 95% of my LPS...all fish are great. Achilles tang is getting huge....I havent been on here much because its been such a depressing road that I have gone down....Fish only and whatever coral decides to live from here out...lost too much $$. Thanks for everyones thoughts and help in my reefing this tank...it was fun while it lasted.

    Sorry to hear this Kevin.

Big tank crashes like that are hard to get over.

Asked Alex about you, thanks for checking in. Keeping that Tang fat and healthy is big accomplishment.
