    1. man finally put in an auto water top-off and no move friggin adjusting the skimmer every time a little water evaporates..that should save me about 10 hours a week lol..just do it

    yeah steady water level definitely helps your skimmer. I have my sump sectioned off so the skimmer section always stays the same level any ways. My ATO is in the return section.

    I think this is the best way to do it. I have mine sump set up this way and the skimmer is no problem with the steady water level.
