so yesterday i woke up, and half the power in my apartment was off.
(luckly the half that do not supply the reef with power) then looked at the tank and my crappy coralife skimmer was overflowing and had dumped like 3 days worth of skim back into the water. (plus im leaving for vaca in 2 wks and my skimmer starts acting up:angry:) then all was fine i went to get my wife from work and i came home to find a keyhole limit had sucked about 2 inches of tissue off my new ora green birdsnest sps. ( i did not know they ate sps until now) so last nite i had to go hunting for limpits and when i caught them i was an angry person.lol they always aggravated me anyways with there stupid shells. they should all burn!!

will the eaten tissue grow back?, still appears to be polyps in the skeleton?

also noticed the same at the base of my green pocciliapora.

keyhole limpets can even cause scratches in acrylic tanks. However, I'm sure that damage is not permanent as the polyps retracted for protection.
