    You think so? I was just following instructions. The corals are doing fine. I guess I'll give it a break.

    At 17 Drops on API is not all that high really I try to keep mine in that range by adding my home brew additional buffer to my system that the reactor can't keep up , Calcium in rather low and pushing the Ca up like Luna said will pull that Alk right to where you want it DKH of 17 will be right at 14 when the ca comes up from 380 to 450 . But I never saw a Magnesium reading thats where you are slack in.. it needs to be at 1400 to 1500 ppm I'd dare say you are nearer to 900ppm get that tested and sored out before adding anything.

    I'm about to go pick up the Mag test kit today along with some other stuff. I'll post up ALL my parameters as soon as I get home. Thanks for all the info fellas!
