Coppersafe works. It contains copper. Use in a quarantine tank. Only thing for me that works.

I used kick ick in my display. It wasn't very affective and I ended up doing a freshwater dip. It didn't really affect anything in my tank that I know of though. All I had in the way of corals were xenia and kenya tree which made it through the treatment just fine.

Ok so I gave up on trying to catch the fish I have used everything. This stupid ick!!!! I have had it probally 10 times in the tank and just turned the heat up the lights down added garlic and viola its gone! Well I cant catch the fish so I did not have the hospital tank. I gave up and bought kick ick on day three and nothing btw! I did though get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and as I went by the tank saw the emperor and thought huh I wonder if I can catch him while its asleep???? It took all of 3 seconds and never saw it coming but I could not believe it so I did a fresh water dip worked for a day! I am ready to kill someone that I cant get this stupid ick under control!!! I bought the three the emperor the powder blue and the naso with streamers all at the same time which triggered the ick! They cost me over 400 and I am not happy to see the struggle going on here!

I went through the same thing in my DT. Couldn't catch my Blue Hippo, so bought a cleaner shrimp. Nothing, he just hung out under a rock all day. LFS said put another one in there and the competition will make them clean the fish. Put another one in and that night they were all over my hippo. She was in bad shape and I never thought she would make it, but within 3 days she went from looking like death warmed over to looking beautiful. I was amazed. Might be worth a try for just he cost of another cleaner shrimp

I have two cleaner shrimp. They do a great job on my hippo but the powder blue does not go to it. I actually lost the pb this am to ick. The angel is looking better but not perfect and still worried. I am getting a cleaner wrasse tommorrow too if that might help.

I have a cleaner wrasse which did a great job on my fish the last time I had ick.
Someone in a post had mentioned to me that the cleaner wrasse will most likely not survive after the ick is gone as they are very picky eaters. The person informed me they like beef heart so keep that in mind. Luckily mine is a pig and eats the nori I put in for the Tangs, and eats brine etc... It is not prejudice about any food.

FYI I saw beef heart cubes at my LFS so you should be able to pick it up if needed.

is yours a blue streak cleaner wrasse i have one too. theyre supposed to be the easiest to move over to food, mine indeed had no trouble adapting.

also for reef safe ich cures, you have around if not less then a 50% chance it will work.
