Originally, I put this guy in my sump to clean out the aphasia. They are pretty much gone now so he pretty much feeds on the pods. I took this movie cuz I couldn't really tell what he was doing. Thought it might be of interest. As far as I can see, he never caught one but I've got to give him an A for effort.

holy moly what mutant pods are those!? anyway he seems more intrigued by your filming and more annoyed at the hyper active swimming of the pods than actually trying to grab them for lunch.

i guess its not a bad idea to keep him in the sump but i believe this won't guarantee you that any glass anemones will appear in your DT at a later date, some spores or whatever they are could get past him and back in the DT no?. you could always fish him out of your sump and put him in the DT should you need his apetasia cleaning services (catching him to put it back may be a little more tricky though). there have been reports of these shrimp pestering LPS corals but otherwise do wonders against glass anemones, or so i have experienced at least.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
They swaying posture is something you see with Cleaner shrimp, I am not sure if it signals to a fish, "hey come on over here and let me clean you" or if the shrimp is just thinking about some smooth Marvin Gaye.
