    Very. Thats why I thought I would post about it because it seems that so few people have seen it. But I can imagine that the fact that it just won an acadamy award will help it's cause.

    Oh definitely. I hope it will at least make people appreciate life a bit more and look at our own habits that justify industries like this. Not saying stop everything we do, but at least cut it back a bit. I'm a bit worried about vilifying the Japanese though. We do some pretty bad things over here in the States as well.

    I agree. We would probably seem very hypocrital, mostly because of the way that we treat much of our livestock. I worked across from a slaughterhouse once... You could see the ramps leading the livestock into the actual building and hear the sounds they made as they were dying if it was quiet enough around. It is very hard to get around eating meat in a society that we are in but I have made a major cut back and I would love if I could cut it out entirely, but stay healthy while doing it. Im glad that this thread is getting some feedback.

    Thats bad.... Go to the website I originally posted. It is an overview of the film. I bet that you could find it to watch for free somewhere online too. Its sad, but is something worthy of being watched.
