    I scrubed and washed my bubble alge infested live rock and was wodering how long it would take to completely kill everything on it if i just left it out in the hot sun? its been out there for about two weeks.. think thats long enought?? i just got a new 60gal tank and excited to get started

    Hmm.. if it's dried, there will be stuff be to decayed when it get wet again and it'll kick off a mini cycle.

    I always just used a bleach mixture. Now you have me wondering whether I should put my live rock in the oven......lol.

    haha yeah i dont think that would smell to nice lol.. well it was all dried out so i washed them and put them in and i guess only time will tell now.. i hope that pain it the a$$ alge is all dead so i can start building my new work of art.. Thanks guys
