    I think bulk cleaning of the rock will be easiest and if you want to add some true peppermint shrimp, one or two, in case some comes back, go for it. One good thing about the peppermint; sometimes they hatch larval shrimp and your tank gets a free meal!

    Just make sure you don't release all of the spores of the aiptasia or it will come back with a vengeance.
