Posted the 6gal marineland eclipse system six on craigslist.

Have someone interested and they said they can come get it tues but the thing is they have never had an aquarium before. I answered some questions and gave her links to the planted tank and the atlanta area aquarium association. But as much as i want this tank gone- I still care about the fish that Ive had the past couple years. I guess I will end up selling it tues but I don't want the fish to die. I haven't been caring for the tank much lately and if this person really wants to learn and will take care of it then im perfectly fine with it but just can't be 100% sure. What do you guys/girls think?

also kinda think she wants to learn cause she's searched for a tank for her living room and is willing to drive like 2 hours for it. And asked me for tips on how to care for it but like I said I'd feel bad if the fish died because I sold the tank to the wrong person but at the same time no one else has been interested in it and I do want to sell it

Let the buyer know your concerns. If they don't seem to respond right don't sell.

I would just give 'em some tips on how to do things, as you did & hope for the best. Maybe tell them you can help if they don't know something. Oh & tell them about 3reef. lol I also agree with what was said above.

ha thought about that but it is a reef forum so...

I am including some betta food. and told her where to buy the remainder of the stuff she needs but dont want her to try and do a water change and jus dump un treated water in there or something like that.

+1 2in10 ......lay your concerns on the table from A to Z .....If I were in a sitaution where I HAD to get rid of my tank, I would donate to my local LFS that I trust, before selling to an inexperienced person (simply because of the personal attachment to my tank) .....if I wanted to get rid of the tank, not out of necessity, I would keep it until I found the right match. My glass eco-system is my pride and joy ...love everything in it .....so Im a tree hugger <<grin>>

yeah I know but no offense to anyone but I think the planted tank would be more helpful for her since its all about planted tanks.

You guys/girls are amazing for saltwater though!
