In a week my kitchen is being remodeled and I'm worried about my tank. It's in the family room, but my house is really open and the fish tank is pretty close to the kitchen. The construction guys are going to hang plastic around the kitchen to help control the dust, chemicals, etc., but should I be worried about the tank? Do I need to cover it with anything? It does have a lid, but there are open areas.

    Thanks!

A bed sheet will keep dust out, but you must keep some way to keep air flowing. If they start using chemicals, use fans to direct fumes away from your tank.
