kitty litter question

    Special Kitty non-fragranced from Walmart.. Hmm i take it it realy doesn't matter then if it is clumping or not..??

    We use the heck out of that stuff due to well... we have a few cats....

    I am not sure. I would think the clumping is due to a added chemical so I would want to say non-clumping. I know the Special Kitty I used was not. Its the one in the red bag.

    Right. No scented or clumping litters. Just buy the stuff that's 100% clay and unscented.

    thank you all for the input on the question. the other question was about rinsing the litter. and do you add or replace the litter every year or 6 months? and do you have the sand on the bottom or mixed?

    i believe the clumping in the kitty litter is not due to a chemical but the nature of clay. f you wet dry clay, it will absorb the water/liquid and clump naturally.
