Me and KOgle took off sunday morning about 5am and made a trip down to North Carolina and got some BBQ... :p (from Indiana)

We also had to do Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap while we were down that way. 318 curves in 11 miles....what a ride. ;D

We even got back before the sun went down....just barely. :-/

Trying to get him broke in for the trip to Sturgis this year. I think a biker has been born. ;)

No they take your pic over the whole run and they post it on a web site... hubby did it last spring and had a blast!

Did you guys turn around and go back the same way?

I wish I lived that close to such nice roads.

Around here you have to ride for quite a while to get nice fun twisties.

One day I will get my knee pucks dragging on the Dragon.

That's the way hubby drove to and from, through Gatlinburg. He said it was a great ride! He went with his uncle who rides a Goldwing. Poor guy. I feel bad for him, but his wife won't let him get a real bike

A goldwing is a great touring bike. I wouldn't feel bad for him at all.
