Yep, I'm really thinking my old tank just needed a crap load of snails and a few tangs. Well minus the devil algae (bryopsis)

The fox face still won't eat and I noticed my diamond goby had become food for the clean up crew last night. I still don't know what casued this because he was out the night before looking and acting fine. The only thing I can think of is maybe the fox face stung him. The goby made his burrow right under where the fox face sleeps. :-/

wholesale fish are notorious for dying within a week or two. I wont buy wholesale fish unless I have to, and I get them fresh off the plane.

Fox face did not make it. :( Don't think I'll try another one. I have my two big tangs. I'll probably focus on smaller fish like a lawnmower blenny etc.

Funny you mention that because only one of the 5 or 6 fish we (me, Otty, and bmshehan) bought that day is alive. I think it's just the stress of the change.

Did Scott's Coral Beauty die? That sucks. My tang is doing well other than a little ick that he still has, other than that he seems to be eating and swimming well.

Let me know when your making a purchase again, I want a lawnmower also and some more snails.

Thanks guys. The price was right but I guess maybe they weren't given enough time to see if they would live? Like I said so far my White Cheek Tang is doing great but we will see.... the cleaner wrasse I bought is gone though

I forgot about the coral beauty he bought. Haven't heard anything on it. No news is good news I guess.

Man if I would have had my camera last night I could have gotten some awesome pictures. The cleaner shrimp was surfing on the blue tang. I've never had this happen in one of my tanks before. Man it was great. My wife even got to see it. Powder blue has had a couple spots of ich on him since two larger fish died in a week. He's still eating and acting fine so I'm not worried about it.

Thanks for the sympathy guys. I can't wait until my flood friend moves into his house so I can get his stuff out of my 30 gallon and nuke it for QT purposes.

I lost all new fish to the Ozone problem I had. I think you bought way to big of fish is why yours died. Putting one the side of your hand in a 180g is way too much I think. I also got rid of the mean old Bicolor too in the O3 mishap.
