I have had my kole eye tang for a few months and I noticed a week ago tiny white spots all over him. I started feeding garlic yesterday and vitamin c. Well today he looks way worse. This is what he looks like now. What can I do and what is wrong with him? Cleaner shrimp has been in overdrive and other fish look ok

I honestly have not noticed, but it looks like those white spots are missing scales. I have seen him go to the cleaner shrimp quite a few times and letting it crawl all over him.

With the tang, does the patches seem to be on (fungus or bacterial?), or like loss of skin?

it looks like missing skin, I have seen him up close and it does not look like a growth. I work all day and have not seen him rubbing, but the patches were not on him last night just white spots. Also looks like a small piece of his tail fin is missing.

tank size is good, but when testing you cant just estimate low nitrates and such. we need exact numbers to help you out.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Honestly to me he looks compromised secondary from a nutritional issue, it looks kind of gaunt in the images ( may just be the images). Does he look skinny to you?
