    Looks like a nutritional thing, I would try to bump up his HUFA intake by soaking the food in a HUFA soak.

    Along side if you are running carbon, Make sure you are rinsing it well. Due to the Uproar about Lignite carbon fines and cause of HLLE.

    Make sure you are feeding Seaweed(Nori). It is a bit harder with bristletooths, because they feed more on the filamentous algae.

    I have not been feeding any Nori, my tang has been going around eating algae off of the rocks since i got him, when i feed the rest of my fish Rods food, he doesnt seem interested.

    i just turned my uv sterilizer on to stay on 24/7 it was running only7 hours a day

    Grazing algae is always good to have with a tang, however Most tanks specially the size of a 65 wont usually have enough so it will need to be supplemented with dried seaweed or macro algeas. such as graciliara (sp) aka Tang heaven. Also HUFAS HUFAS HUFAS!!!
