Watch out they can get MEAN!!

Ctenochaetus tangs are GREAT for eating diatoms and cleaning off your rocks... Some say that they even eat cyano!!

I just got the last one Joe got in. Mine is not mean, and trust me, I know mean fish.

Kole's can be one of the least aggro bristletooths, and sometimes they are mean. It depends if you piss in their coffee or not;)

Cool fish, but I've never had great success keeping it. Good luck.

I had one for about 3 months. Great fish, never saw it be aggressive at all. How big a tank? Mine was in a 90 and wasted away. A lot of people have observed this. Being detritavors they have diets that can be hard to satisfy in a tank that is not large and mature.

My 2 spot bristletooth almost never ate food I fed the tank, only algae. Now my kole tang eats prepared foods and algae, so i think he has a very good shot. The2 spot bristletooth I think was a victim of my maroon clown, and not starvation.

3rd day of having this fish and he is still hiding under this peice of live rock. I think he is eating, cause i put some seaweed on a clip last night and woke up and saw that it was all over my tank. But anyways he is very scared and i wonder how long it will take before he will come out.

He will most likely warm up to your tank in time I wouldn't worry. I just got a yellow tang a few days ago he swims around and eats well but when I walk up to the tank he darts behind the rocks.
