If it says "do not use in aquarium" right on the bag than that pretty much says it all, make sure you read very carefully, if it contains silicates it will only bring you algae issues down the road.

You could always try the vinegar test. Put a small amount of sand in a bowl and pour some white vinegar on it. If it fizzes, it's most likely aragonite. Now, that being said, there's no guaranty that the sand doesn't contain silicates or other contaminants so you'll be taking a risk by using it.

well people are saying these use it with no problem...one person even told me that the company could make an aquarium marketed brand for 5 times as much....

i was looking for people who have actually used this stuff...

During the Southdown DSB craze from a few years ago, they changed their packaging to say not to be used in aquariums. It wasn't that you couldn't use Southdown (it was aragonite sand), it was that the company didn't want any lawsuits, bad press, etc.

I've never used Kolorscape Play Sand personally but Yard Right, Old Castle, Durascape, Kolorscape.....it's all the same stuff and none of it is guaranteed to be 100% aragonite anymore.
