Yea, I found that out--I also got a basket star, but I haven't been able to get a good pic of it . It has also grown larger. I keep my finger crossed on that one as they are supposed to be hard to keep alive. So far so good! Oh an two porcelain crabs must have hacheted fom the rocks, they are growing also.

sweet! I love yellow in a tank it brightens it up. How do you know it's a snail? and doesn't a snail need a shell?

Looks like a type of limpet to me.

LIMPETS Limpets are little pointy-shelled snail-like creatures. You may find them crawling along your glass or rock. I have a ton of them in my sump. These guys are for the most part good guys but there are some bad types. More info here.

No, it's a snail--the little snail body is under the yellow ruffled top [I have seen her eyes and feelers] I believe she is in the bubble snail family, not sure. But the shell is under the mantle and they excrete waste out of the hole on top. I have quite a few limpets and this is not a limpet, it is a snail--too bad I don't have a pic when her little head is poking out.

That top hole is the anal pore. Limpets do resemble snails anatomically. The only problem with it "possibly" being a limpet, is some eat coralline.
