Hi Mikejrice, I don't currently have a return pump in there. Just 2 Penguin 350s and the 2 K4's. I will try to change the angle of the K4's to converge to the center of the glass since I currently have them pointing on the opposite ends so that the flow is going in circle. How's that sound? Btw, if you angle the K4's to the center, wouldn't that blow the sand to both sides and show the glass bottom in the middle?

It shouldn't, you want the flow to converge half way between the top and bottom of the center glass. This will give you more chaotic flow instead of a one way circular flow.

I would guess you're getting about 500gph or a little less from your return than. That would make your turnover rate about 19.5x turnover.

So should I put the K4'2 close to the bottom of the tank and have it pointing up towards the center, somewhere in the middle, more on the top, or one close to the top and the other close to the bottom of the aquarium?

If you divide the end glass pane into thirds horizontal and vertically you will want the power head on the top back intersection of the lines. Then just point them to center of the front glass.
