i bought a used koralia 4 for 10 bucks today and put it in my tank. the problem is that i only have a 30 gallon system. I just hooked it up and I tried aiming the powerhead at the front glass and towards the top of the system, but the sand is still being stirred up a little bit. is this setup just not going to work, or will the "dust settle" after a little while?

1200 GPH is alot of flow in a 30 for one powerhead. 1200 GPH total flow for that tank isnt out of line, but I personally would spread it over 2 or 3 powerheads instead of one. Obviously you understand why lol.

Put it mid level in the side of the tank, and point it towards the surface.
