Ok it is pay day and I am ready for my next upgrade. I have 2 tanks a normal 20 gallon and a JBJ 24 Gallon. Right now I have a Power head 301 in each tank. the flow is very low and I know I need an upgrade. But the question, is the 425 too much flow for either tank?

The main question is witch one would put in your 20 and JBJ24g nano?

I have SPS LPS and softies in the tanks.

    Thanks in advance.

Can never have to much flow IMO, long as you aren't making a sandstorm

I would go with the 425's.

    301`

Just looked up the 301 flow and it is only 175GPH and these things are 2 years old and I got them used. So it will be a huge upgrade. I am also hoping it will help with the stagnant spots in the tank.

I think I will buy 1 of the 425 and put it in and see how it goes. The JBJ is sand while the 20g is crushed coral.

    Thanks for the info.
