koralia 5-magnum x 2 too much flow?

    the MP20 isnt controllable correct? so i wont have the same options, it just puts out a steady stream? or am i reading their literature wrong? seems every website tries to upsell the MP40W due to the controller.

    after reading into them more im VERY interested in this setup now, but id be happier with a MP20 than paying $200 more for something that im going to run at 50% load anyways.

    It's the same as the mp40 just smaller.

    The only difference between the 20 and 40 controllers is the wireless ability to link multiple units.

    You said you wanted to do SPS. Chaotic flow is a must for best growth and extension. I didn't think it mattered that much until I got my MP40.

    I know it is 100$ more, but that is only 3 or 4 frags of SPS. Do it right the first time.

    alright, ill go on that advice and get the mp40w. one of those should provide more than adequate flow. otherwise it'd be two mp20's one on each side of the tank.

    i do wanna do it right the first time. ive already learned my lesson on this :)

    heh, i wish i researched more when i was buying my fuge... i thought the ebay $200 special was a good one. now im having to replace both pumps, the skimmer it came with. fail. dont wanna go buy some powerheads for wavemaking that a) suck b) dont do what i thought they would... so that said im gonna go with the MP40W
