Can anyone think of any reason the power cord for the controllable Koralia's could be cut and modified for a regular wall outlet? I have a reefkeeper 2 with wavemaker that i'd like to use these pumps on. I had 2 koralia 1's prior to purchasing the reefkeeper 2 that do not shut off when the wavemaker is cycling (i assume because of the softstart?).

If the reefkeeper 2 is anything like the elite as far as the pc4s. According to digital aquatics the pumps have to be plugged into ports 1 and 4 (the relay ports). I was having issues with my top off pump not turning off and flooding my house and they say that it's because I had it plugged into port 3. Makes alot of sense right. Not!

My memory is fuzzy, but i think i have my lighting in the relay'd outlets. I have a Koralia 3 that works perfectly in 1 of the outlets. I will have to check that. Thanks.

Digital aquatics also said the smaller the pump the worse it is a out staying on when plugged into 2 and 3. I have my koralia 1 and 2's plugged into port 2 and 3 and they work fine sometimes and stays on others.

Are you talking about the DC Koralias? Because that would indeed pose an issue.
