I came home today, and my Koralia Evolution 550 was running backward ( it is connected to the Smartwave) so I plugged it in the other way, and it was blowing foward, but it was not moving much if any water. I took it apart and cleaned it, but that didn't do anything. It is about 1 and a half months old. Any ideas?

Might be a problem with the little rubber bumper in the cover.

you will not feel much flow out of the smaller hydors because the flow is so wide but it's there. as for the powerhead running backwards, they were supposed to have fixed that with the evo line of pumps including the nano. if it were me i would return/exchange it, the 3-10 days wait for a new one is worth having to tinker with it off and on.

Contact hydor and they'll replace the front cover under warranty. You either have a cracked housing or a missing stopper.

the rubber bumper thing cracked for some reason, I don't know why, I haven't messed with it or anything. All I did was get it, wash it off with some ro/di water, and put it in the tank. So u think I should contact them? And will they ship out a new front cage? Will I have to pay?

Normally they ship it out free, but can't hurt to give them a call.
