I bought this cool looking anemone about two days ago. I wanted to put it in the tank before I bought some percula's so they would have an established anemone in the tank when they got there. So I got up to feed it and it was gone. I looked everyhwere until I noticed something stuck in the koralia. And when I unplugged the powerhead, sur enough, it got sucked inside and killed. I want to buy another one but I want to make sure this doesn't happen again. What should I do?

Sounds like your power head sits low in your tank. I keep mine up a ways for that reason. What size tank do you have? IF you have 2 #4.

this was the powerhead that was all the way on the top. I saw it on the glass before I went to bed, so it must of kept climbing up to the powerhead through the night. where can I find the protectors?

Some of this info may be helpful. All intakes and powerheads should be covered. You just never know where these guys will wander.

I would test the water first. When one dies, it releases toxins. I would wait a bit before putting in anything else IMO. Sorry for your loss though..
