Koralia Nano on Timer?

does the nano K powerhead work on a reg 6$ light timer?

 

I have a K3 and K4 and used to have one on a timer, temporarily, because I ran out of plugs on the power strip. It worked fine for a month until I reconfigured some things and added another power strip to keep it going continuously. It worked fine, but, from the others on here that I have learned from Koralias are not meant to be turned on and off on a regular basis. I never encountered any problems though..... Maybe someone else with more experience can chime in..... Hope that helps.

 

You can turn on and off your protein skimmer but your taking a chance of eventually failing. I turn my powerheads off when I do a weekly water change
