i have 3 Koralia 4s in my 120 and 2 Koralia 2s in my 46 and love the performance of them. I think its worth it. but again you can get new ones for 50 to 60 bucks and have a warranty if something was wrong and i have heard of a power head burning out and killing the whole tank...

Koralia's are amazing powerheads IMO. I have two K1's in my 29. But I would go with new ones, here check out this link: Koralia Evo. I've ordered from this company before and their good. I'm not sure what the final price will be on the eBay ones but new isn't much more expensive and shipping is cheaper. Plus the ones in the eBay pictures look pretty dirty so not sure how well they work. If it were me I would spend a few extra bucks for the peace of mind of a new one.

I love them for the price. A mp20 is my dream powerhead but I am not paying that price. You can do mods on the koralia too to disperse the flow. As far as the used ones go, it really depends on how old they are. I know I could not get 15 dollors for my used koraila 4.

there 50 to 60 a piece but they are worth it. I wouldnt trust something of ebay like that. We have so much invested into these tanks where something stupid as a power head melting is senseless. IMO spend the money for new power heads. There has to be a reason there 15 dollars... old, dont work.ect

Pass on the old style K series and get a couple of the new Koralia Evolutions series. Much much smaller, a better mounting system, less than half the power consumption and best of all they are controllable with a timer or controller. I got rid if two K-4s and a K3 in favor of two Evo 1400's and they are great.

Hey buddy hope all is well. I have 2 #2 in my 90gal, but wanted to increase my flow. Are the new ones that much better and what size do you recommend? So from what I have read no more clicking noises when using a wavemaker.

Not to sure about them burning up. I have 2 #2s and they have been running on a wavemaker clicking away for over 3 years. Still running strong.
